Been enjoying that new Zelda game, it feels so nostalgic for me. I always really enjoyed the music in the games.

So excited to hear that my debut single “Fresh” made it into the semi final round in the 2022 International Songwriting Competition!!!
Narrowed down to the top 13% out of 15,000+ entries in the world most prestigious songwriting competition I think its worth a celebration post! 🥳
So now we wait a few weeks while the listening committee narrows down to the finalists, who will be sent to celebrity judges such as Mariah Carey and Coldplay 🤩.
Cross your fingers for me! But I’m just so thrilled to have made it this far in this competition with thousands of other professional songwriters 🙏🏻.
@theowensesband @roberta_michele_music_birdloft @adamnewcombproducer also played a big part in making “Fresh” the powerfully positive banger it is today. So proud of what we created and grateful to whoever on the ISC committee gave it the green light into the semi finals 🥹🙏🏻🎶

Its been one year since the war started in Ukraine

Its been one year since the war started in Ukraine. I hope it comes to a peaceful end soon🙏🏻🇺🇦 . This year I was honored to play guitar in a few shows raising money for the troops with my friend @alona_armour singing some Ukrainian songs to a mostly ukranian audience in Toronto.
This is an original song that I got to play with her for the first time she performed since the war. I don’t speak the language but it was really cool to play those chords and get to hear a room full of people sing along in Ukranian. My heart goes out to all those people suffering because of this war ~

What is your favorite thing that happened in 2022?
What are you most excited about in 2023?

My favorite part of last year was playing and going to concerts / events again, traveling to Cali, and officially releasing my music for the first time. Next year theres lots to be excited about. I am always inspired on new years to push myself to be better. I want to take better care of myself and the people that I care about. I want to be healthier, laugh more, work harder, release more music, and be able to look back at this time next year and see how much I have grown as an artist and a human. So many ppl think new years resolutions dont work and dont bother with them and its kind of true but I still appreciate the opportunity to reflect and check in at this time of year on how I’m doing with my goals and be inspired to give another big push going into the new year. Some goals are a life long journey, so just take it one step at a time 🤘🏻
